Freelancer & Student Worker / 2017-Present

University of Virginia Athletics Video Services

•    Operated graphics and served as graphics AP for 40+ shows a year on ESPN networks, including ESPN2, ESPNU, and the ACC Network
•    Became one of the youngest (19) to AP a sporting event on an ESPN linear network
•    Became UVA Athletics’ first ever paid high schooler, working 2-5 shows per week
•    Produced and directed ACC basketball and Olympic sports events airing on ACC Network Extra
•    Collaborated with multiple ESPN and UVA colleagues on network shows
•    Operated camera & gripped for football & basketball video board & network shows

•    Experience with Ross XPression graphics, Ross Acuity & Carbonite switchers, Evertz DreamCatcher replay

•    Co-led team of 8+ interns and volunteers to form one of the most comprehensive video operations in summer collegiate baseball
•    Instructed college interns on video shooting, production, & editing; as well as general media department operations
•    Helped develop social media strategy & launched/developed YouTube channel for one of country’s top summer baseball teams, leading to increased attendance & interactions
•    Filmed every game of 42-game regular season & playoffs
•    Taped, wrote, produced, and edited multiple weekly feature stories, weekly 5-segment YouTube show, and video podcast that aired before every home game
•    Wrote daily 20+page game notes & season-long media guide and kept StatCrew database & team record book
•    Designed full Photoshop & motion graphics package for every season, updated as needed

• Announced & ran sound for 20+ majors games every season, including city championship, district opening ceremonies, and all-star tournament
• Curated bank of music & sound effects before beginning of season
• Assisted in managing league’s social media program
• Drafted & presented a successful proposal for new PA systems on both fields
